For each game, you get 60 minutes along with 3 extra hints that add 3 minutes each onto your total time to complete the game.

The Escape Game has five different games you can choose from, Prison Break, Gold Rush, The Heist, Mission: Mars, and Classified. These games can be played with 2-8 players, and based on your ability to solve puzzles will determine if you can escape. We chose to play The Heist, to see if we could recover a stolen painting for an art museum. Our knowledgeable guide Olivia gave us the instructions on how to play the game. She played a video of the mission we needed to complete by working together to escape without getting caught. Once the time started, Olivia left the room and wished us luck on trying to escape.

Solving Puzzles & Clues

The three of us worked together to find clues in the first room. We began to look high and low, underneath, beside, and behind anything that was in the room. As you’re trying to solve the clues the timer not only keeps you on track but also keeps your adrenaline flowing! A couple of things we enjoyed about The Escape Game is we didn’t have to use our cell phones, we got to spend quality time together while trying to escape, and there were many laughs while playing the game.

We found many clues and started to solve puzzles that would lead us into the next room. We almost escaped; however, the time ran out! We were so close to escaping with the found stolen piece of artwork. Since there was only 3 of us playing a game meant for 8, we would definitely play it again with more family and friends. When the timer ran out, Olivia came back into the room and told us we got very far in the game for having 3 people. Even though we almost escaped, it will always be a special memory between my mom, sister, and I. We are excited to play the other games they offer to see if we can escape!

Instead of sitting on the couch reading a book or watching another movie, The Escape Game lets you solve the mystery and be the hero!

Upon arrival, a staff member will help you understand the object of the chosen game and the rules. Next, you and your team will be locked in a room and the one-hour timer is started. To complete the mission, you will need to work as a team, quickly decode messages, and pay attention to everything around you!

Get stuck in the game, no problem! There is an experienced staff member monitoring the game who will make sure you have a great time and get as much (or as little!) help as you need. Most people ask for at least three clues, but there is not a limit if you need extra assistance.

While all of the escape games are amazing, the following three were our favorites:

Gold Rush (Difficulty 7/10)

Gold Rush is perfect for first timers at The Escape Game. In this escape, you are racing against the mob to find Clyde Hamilton’s secret stash of gold. If you don’t find the gold within 60 minutes, you’ll be too late. The elusive gold hunt will require you to decode messages, open locks, hunt for gold, and even fire a BB gun!

This incredible escape took 850′ of rough sawn lumber, 1,128 pounds of concrete, 1,500 pounds of sand, and four whole trees to build. There is even a shooting range that guests fire nearly 500,000 BB’s per year at!

Prison Break (Difficulty 9/10)

Prison Break Escape Game Pigeon Forge Full

Prison Break is the most challenging Escape at this location – it is sure to test your skills! The worst-case scenario has come true. You have been wrongly accused of a crime you did not commit. Now, you are stuck in a jail cell for life without parole.

However, the rumors about your cell are plentiful. Some of the inmates around you claim the last occupant was murdered by the warden and other people believe he escaped.

To construct this jailhouse experience, the team used 1,200 bricks, 450 pounds of steel, 523 used books, and two toilets from the Memphis State Penitentiary.

Mission: Mars (Difficulty 8/10)

After landing on Mars, you realize that your spacecraft Krios has experienced heavy damage. As if that weren’t bad enough, a potentially fatal amount of cosmic radiation is bearing down on you. If you want to survive or every see earth again, you have 60 minutes to repair your ship and launch!

It’s no easy feat to create an experience that transports you to a different planet! The Escape Game producers used 32,714 individual LEDs, 20 screens, and over four MILES of electrical wire constructing this game.

Directions:
The Escape Game Pigeon Forge is conveniently located at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Between traffic lights number three and four on the main Parkway, turn at the Island Drive traffic light (towards the Smoky Mountain Wheel). Take advantage of the free parking on-site, but allow 10-15 minutes to get parked and walk over to the attraction. As you enter The Island from the parking area, The Escape Game is located near The Island Show Fountains on the right side.
