What is the brilliance score used for?

Absolutely nothing!!

Brilliance score is the cumulative number of puzzle boxes you've filled since you 1st began the game. I'm not sure if bonus words add to the brilliance score. Total brilliance of each team is a stat for comparison. The brilliance of each of your teammates is listed. Some teams have a minimum brilliance to join.

.. no, bonus words don't count towards brilliance. Lol... There is a formula for calculating brilliance. What is the formula ?

Is there actually a final level?

If there is a final level I have not found it yet. I am currently playing level 14,333. I’m playing at level 6,140 and still no end. I understand the game is constantly having levels added. I am almost at 30,000 but no very few new levels added after 15,000 or so.I'm over 16,000. The puzzles repeat.

I think those numbers on the screen motivates you to play more in order your brain Sharpens lol

Brilliance are number of points each level

It's not redeemable for anything, it just keeps a track of how well you are doing in the game.

Why even keep score? Stupid if we can't redeem the points for something. Disappointing.I wish they would turn off brilliance. It does nothing and the huge sun covers the scenery. Isn’t that what the levels are for? Annoys me that it doesn’t do anything. Yes and no. Extra words and completing levels without making mistakes will get you a higher brilliance score. I am at level 15138 with a brilliance score of 690,000. Score doesn't do anything.
